675SR-R
The ergonomics are purposeful and ‘racey’ but also fine-tuned for comfort and practicality for a daily ride. Absorption through tricky road bumps is controlled with finesse by fully adjustable upside-down KYB 41mm front forks and rear shock. 300mm and 240mm disc brakes provide steady and efficient stopping power while the dual-compound sports tires are the durable ‘glue’ for a variety of street surfaces.
The 675SR-R may look like a performance tool orientated for one purpose but the motorcycle carries a high-tech intelligent edge. Check out the 5” TFT with MotoPlay, gear change guidelights and a comprehensive interface to handle the information and settings from the 4G modules and 6D sensors of the ‘T-box’. OTA upgrades for the electronics and bike’s status is easily possible through the CFMOTO RIDE app where more customization is possible.
675NK
Adopting the same engine platform as the 675SR-R, the 675NK is the second generation of CFMOTO’s exceptional naked bike family and orientated to more mature riders and customers that expect an elevated product in this thriving segment.
Refinements to the bodywork permits the rider to move around for both comfort and wind resistance and the ergonomics are acutely aligned with the light alloy steel tubular frame for superb agility and the perception of fun without losing stability and assurance into any curve. The design of the LED lighting group is not only aesthetic but also responsive to rider reactions to better inform other road users (more rapid flashes).
Safety is emphasized through the dual-channel ABS and 2-level adjustable traction control as standard. The 675NK’s powerbase permits a more mellow 200kmph top speed and 11,000rpm compared its sporty cousin, although the beat from 0-100kmph happens at a similar rate: 3.9 seconds. The 5” TFT contains the same array of features and interactivity as the 675SR-R: CFMOTO RIDE app synergy, OTA upgrades, T-box, Google Maps availability. But also has a tire pressure monitoring system included. Riders can expect a seat height of 810mm but this can be increased to 825mm or lower to 795mm with optional accessories. The 675NK is unmissable, whether in Glacier White or Tundra Gray.
V.04 Engine
CFMOTO are going big. The announcement of the landmark V.04 engine development will mark a new product phase for the company and increase the scope of the CFMOTO portfolio to other segments of the market; areas where CFMOTO feels it can make an imprint. Details were revealed with the 90-degree V4 configuration, 997cc displacement, 81mm and 48.4 stroke. The projected power output is pegged at a figure over 156kW through 14,500rpm and expected maximum torque 114Nm. Each component has been forged for uncompromising performance: balance, minimal vibration, linear delivery and smoothness. Finger followers are a notable inclusion for the output and the blend of lightness and strength is achieved with titanium connecting rods, intake and exhaust valves for peak potential but also reliability. The counter-rotating crankshaft is an example of the hardware and learning derived from elite competition like MotoGP. The V.04 is yet another way in which CFMOTO are explicitly ‘tech driven’.
